Oct. 26, 2026

October 26, 2026 — Zhejiang Jinrui Hardware Rigging Co., Ltd. has added four new series to its CLIWIZ industrial safety hook range: the 7131 D-shape and O-shape aluminum locking carabiners, the 7120 captive-eye industrial hook together with its twist-lock variant the 7120TN, and the 8124 alloy steel O-shape carabiner rated to 40 kN. The four series cover the two most common connection tasks in work at height — a lightweight general-purpose connector and a fixed-anchor connector for lanyards and positioning systems — and are available for sampling now.
Why these four models
Buyers of fall-protection hardware in Europe and North America no longer purchase on shape and price alone. Connectors destined for work at height must be certified to EN 362, connectors sold into climbing and mountaineering channels to EN 12275, and purchasing teams increasingly ask for batch traceability, proof-load records and salt-spray data alongside the certificate. The four new series were developed around those requirements rather than around a catalogue of shapes: each model carries a clearly marked strength rating, a laser-etched batch code and a repeatable test record, so a distributor can answer an auditor's question without going back to the factory.
7131 series — aluminum locking carabiners, D-shape and O-shape
Forged from 7075 aluminum, the 7131 is offered in two body shapes and three gate types (manual screw, twist lock and triple-action auto lock). The D-shape version reaches a major-axis strength of 32 kN with a 24 mm gate opening at 131 g, in a 78.2 x 123.5 mm body; the symmetric O-shape version is rated at 30 kN with a 21 mm gate opening at 117 g, in 67.5 x 115.2 mm. The O-shape geometry keeps the load centred on the major axis when used with pulleys, rope clamps and rigging plates, while the D-shape concentrates material where the gate meets the nose for a larger effective opening at the same weight.
7120 and 7120TN — captive-eye industrial hooks
The 7120 is a captive-eye connector: the load pin is permanently retained in the eye, so a lanyard or positioning rope cannot work loose and the hook cannot be cross-loaded on the pin. Major-axis strength is 24 kN, gate opening 20 mm, overall size 94 x 153 mm and weight 102 g. Both a triple-action auto-lock and a manual twist-lock (7120TN) version are produced, allowing a single anchor design to be specified across a workforce with different lock preferences. Certification is EN 362:2004 and EN 12275:2013.
8124 — alloy steel O-shape carabiner, 40 kN
Where aluminum reaches its limit, the 8124 takes over. The body is forged from alloy steel and rated at 40 kN on the major axis, 18 kN on the minor axis and 15 kN with the gate open — figures that suit rescue, confined-space entry and heavy rigging rather than sport climbing. Three lock versions are available: triple-action auto lock (SGM8124TN3, 244 g), twist lock (SGM8124TN, 243 g) and manual screw lock (SGM8124B, 213 g). Gate opening is 21.5 mm across the range, with a 62.5 x 115 mm body.
Manufacturing and quality control
All four series are hot-forged and machined in Jinrui's own plant, which has been producing rigging hardware for 35 years and holds ISO 9001 and BSCI certification. Every batch is dimensionally checked and proof-loaded, with periodic salt-spray and fatigue testing carried out against internal standards; test records are retained against the batch code marked on each unit. Surface treatment is anodizing for the aluminum bodies and a corrosion-resistant finish for the steel bodies, with custom colours available for OEM programmes.
Availability
Samples of all four series are available on request, together with declaration of conformity documentation and dimensional drawings. OEM and ODM orders can be supplied with custom anodized colours, laser marking, logo embossing on the spine and retail-ready packaging.
